como keeps you learning – Como Park Zoo & Conservatory is free and open to newcomers and frequent visitors alike all year long. Our mission is to inspire our public to value the presence of living things in our lives. With a strong focus on conservation and serving over 2 million visitors annually, our expert staff is dedicated to the wellbeing of the many plants and animals that live here.
How much does it cost to go to Como Zoo?
Is there a cost to reserve a time? – No. Como Park Zoo & Conservatory is admission free. We do ask for a voluntary donation of $4 for adults and $2 for children which enable us to care for Como’s plant and animal collections. Donations may be added to your online reservation or you may use a credit/debit card at our new kiosks in the Visitor Center. Cash donation boxes are also available.

Minnesota Zoo Tropics Trail Indoor Exhibits : The Como Park Zoo has a primate house located inside, an indoor viewing area for the polar bear, and an aquatic animal building near the Sparky Show. The Minnesota Zoo has two large indoor exhibits. These are the Tropics Trail and Minnesota Trail. 
Como Park Zoo Butterfly Release Animal Interactions : The Como Park Zoo has a butterfly house (open in the summer) where you can release butterflies if you are one of the first ones there.

Bringing and Buying Food at Como Zoo – You can bring a picnic or other food to Como Zoo. There are picnic benches and grassy spaces around the zoo and nearby in the larger park. You can also purchase food from their vendors, However, they do not want you bringing food and beverages into the zoo buildings.
